The Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS) is tenable for undergraduate studies in Singapore and overseas (for mid-term candidates only). While pursuing their studies, scholars can already plug into the sector of their choice through internships and development programmes offered by their sponsoring organisations. Sponsoring organisations will tailor development programmes for their scholars during their studies and as soon as they embark on their careers upon graduation. Possible development programmes include:
- Internship programmes
- Overseas exchange sponsorship for scholars studying in Singapore (for one semester if requirements are met)
- Personal and professional growth and career progression
- Management development programmes
- Mentorship by senior leaders in the industry
- Rotation opportunities
- Attachment to overseas subsidiaries
