Driving and Delivering Innovative Healthcare Solutions

Healthcare (Administrators)

Singapore’s demand for healthcare services is expected to remain strong with a growing and ageing population. With two new public hospitals, five community hospitals and more nursing homes to be completed and operational by 2020 (growing the number of acute hospital, community hospital and nursing home beds by 30%, 300% and 70% respectively). As Singapore invest in hardware by building new hospitals and adding more beds and services, we will continue to invest in our people, as well as attract and retain talent who will be the driving force for our healthcare system of the future. By 2030, we project that Singapore’s healthcare professional workforce is expected to grow by 70% or 32,000 more.

Besides requiring healthcare professional manpower such as doctors and nurses, the sector will also need to attract talent into our public healthcare system as healthcare administrators powering hospital operations, finance and human resources, who partner healthcare professionals in ensuring that healthcare services are run efficiently and effectively.
