The Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS) Full-Term is tenable for young Singapore Citizens interested to have a head start with one of the participating organisations, which are key players in Singapore’s strategic sectors, while embarking on their undergraduate studies locally.
SgIS scholars can plug into the sector of their choice through internships and development programmes offered by their sponsoring organisations.
Sponsoring organisations will tailor development programmes for their scholars during their studies and as soon as they embark on their careers upon graduation.
Possible development programmes include:
- Attachment to overseas subsidiaries (if applicable)
- Career progression and management development programmes
- Internship programmes
- Mentorship by senior leaders in the industry
- Rotation opportunities
- Sponsorship for master’s studies (subject to meeting academic requirements and sponsoring organisation’s approval)

• Singapore Citizens • Recent graduates with good GCE A Level certification (at least 10 academic units), International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma or Polytechnic Diploma • Good Co-curricular Activities (CCA) records • Passion to contribute to Singapore’s strategic sectors • Seeking admission or have been accepted for admission to the following institutions across all disciplines (excluding Medicine, Dentistry and other healthcare-related disciplines):
