How to Apply
- Prepare Your Documents
Gather your academic transcripts, CCA records, and prepare a 500-word write-up about yourself and your career aspirations. - Submit Online Application
Complete your application through the official SgIS Application Portal between 15 January and 18 March 2026. - Select Your Preferred Organisations
Browse through 146 sponsoring organisations across 16 industries and indicate your preferences. - Attend Selection Interviews
If shortlisted, sponsoring organisations will contact you directly for interviews between April and June 2026. - Receive Your Offer
Successful candidates will receive an offer letter. Sign and return the letter of undertaking by the stated deadline.
Scholarship Schemes
Full-Term Scholarship
For students about to embark on full-time undergraduate studies at a local autonomous university (NTU, NUS, SIT, SMU, SUSS, SUTD, or UAS). Covers tuition fees, monthly allowance, and more.
Bond Period: 4 years (NTU, NUS, SMU, SUSS, SUTD) or 3 years (SIT, UAS)
Mid-Term Scholarship (Local)
For current undergraduates at local universities (NTU, NUS, SIT, SMU, SUSS, SUTD, or UAS) who have completed at least 1 semester and are not in final year.
Grant: S$30,000 (1-2 years remaining) or S$50,000 (more than 2 years remaining)
Bond: 2-3 years depending on grant amount
Mid-Term Scholarship (Overseas)
For Singaporeans studying at overseas universities who have completed at least 1 semester and are not in final year.
Grant: S$40,000 (1-2 years remaining) or S$60,000 (more than 2 years remaining)
Bond: 2-3 years depending on grant amount
Eligibility Requirements
- Citizenship: Singapore Citizen
- Academic Qualifications: Good GCE A-Level results, Polytechnic Diploma, International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, or NUS High School Diploma
- University Admission: Admitted or seeking admission to approved local universities (NTU, NUS, SIT, SMU, SUSS, SUTD, UAS) or overseas universities, excluding healthcare-related disciplines
- Co-Curricular Activities: Good CCA records and leadership achievements
- Passion: Keen interest to contribute to Singapore's strategic sectors
Note: Male applicants who are enlisted for National Service can defer their scholarship.

- PDF copy of academic transcript (for Polytechnic Diploma, IB, NUS High School Diploma holders)
- University academic transcript (for Mid-Term applicants)
- 500-word write-up about yourself and career aspirations
