About SgIS
In collaboration with the Singapore Government, the Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS) was established in 2012 as the first multi-industry scholarship for young Singaporeans and is offered by market leaders in Singapore’s strategic sectors.
Together, our priority is to identify and nurture a strong core of Singapore talent with the requisite skills, aptitude and capabilities that are pivotal in steering and ensuring Singapore’s continued sustainable economic and social progress.
Start your future with a competitive edge over your peers.
SgIS offers you a key advantage – the opportunity to secure a career head-start with one of the 47 sponsoring organisations of your choice.
The exciting opportunities for a broad-based development start as early as while you pursue your undergraduate studies through the SgIS Scholars’ Development and Engagement Programme which consists of three pillars:
+ Professional Development: Induction programmes, structured internships, and mentorships by seniors, amongst others will be provided by our sponsoring organisation to help you build core competencies and skills to develop professionally.
+ Strategic Engagement: You will have direct interaction and access to public and private sector leaders who will share valuable insights about their careers and outlook of the industries, equipping you with breadth and depth of knowledge across sectors.
+ Social Connection: Be part of the dynamic and high-value SgIS Scholars’ Network, where you will get to know and interact with fellow SgIS scholars who are future leaders from various organisations and industries.
We welcome you to join us on this journey of Creating Future Leaders.
